DANGEROUS DANIEL DEALS A DEADLY BLOW

Felix had everything under control in the goal and had little to do through the game, a few world class saves here and there and putting his hands in where everyone else fears. Top scorer Roberto stayed up front for the first half and calmly slotted two goals away, taking his tally past the 15 mark for the season. Tommy showed what tough tackling is all about, including giving a few of his team mates a crack! and was rewarded as he went looking for goals and actually got one!! He pushed into the area and there was no one going to stand in his way as he kicked the ball (and 3 earley players) into the net. Connor managed a very cool finish as he ran through the defence and slotted the ball into the corner. Morgan was on the wrong end of a rough tackle (makes a change, eh?) and was rightly awarded a penalty.
He showed nerves of steel as he calmly blasted the ball past the keeper, who had to retire, traumatised my Morgan giving him 'The Eyes'. Morgan was the star of the show today, running his lungs out for the cause. Daniel was pushed up front and after a good bit of play the ball spilled to him, just inside the box....there was a collective intake of breath as he pulled his leg back and swung...the ball flew past the keeper and into the net and Daniel was swamped by his team mates....Parents erupted on the line and you might've been forgiven for thinking it was a pompey match....and Mike owes us all a drink at the end-of-season parents lash-up....(yes, there really is one!!) Jake had a busy game up front and was getting a lot of the ball....again it's only a matter of time before he notches. Gaetano played in 3 different positions today and seemed to enjoy the strikers role the most as his ball controls improves every game.

Crowthorne Vs Predators

AFC Crowthorne were in the mood for football today as the sun shone and the mood was high. Manager Doug King had decided to wear a Portsmouth FC top...the lucky FA Cup winners top that always brings luck...AND SO IT DID, TWICE TODAY!!

Those of little faith who were in attendance scoffed at the mighty Pompey top, but were left in speechless awe at the power it yeilded over their young ones....it ransformed them into a brazillian style footballing force.
Charlie took the captains armband today and also looked to steady the ship from the back, but decided to run all over the show to start with, scoring a great free kick, thundering the ball past the stunned keeper and then a trade-mark run where he beats everyone on the pitch....twice, before deciding to score.
