MORGAN MANGLES THE RISING RAIDERS

That didn't put him off and he kept on and on tackling and winning the ball and finally smashed the ball home. Roberto was unlucky this week as chance after chance came and went, but he never stopped battling. Gaetano settled in at the back and even had the confidence to go hunting the ball and joining the attack on Corners. Tommy was solid, making some crucial tackles in defence. Charlie hoovered up the remains and distributed the ball quite well today. Jake continues to grow in stature and confidence beating players and looking to get forward at every chance. Daniel has also made great progress, his kicking and tackling has come on brilliantly and the confidence the goal has given him is evident in the way he plays.
Doug had dusted off the almighty and brilliant Pompey UEFA cup top this week. A rare White version of the top that inspires willing young minds to greater things. This was probably one of the most accomplished performances and in a way and more satisfying win, given the opposition.

As a side issue, we're looking to organise a drinky for the parents at South Hill Park at the end of the season...the one where Mike buys us all a drink coz Daniel scored, yea...that one...the Mike buying drinks one.....where Mike buys drinks....

Crowthorne Vs Ascot Utd

Hawks were without Connor today as the poor chap failed a late fitness test due to a case of the Eartha Kitts.
No such worries for the U7 WAGS that turned up in glorious sunshine..although a little windy (you can get tablets for that Hose), the team were jelly babied up and ready for action.
Hawks went 3 at the back with Gaetano and Tommy settling in alongside Charlie, Daniel and Morgan made up the midfield with Roberto doing the lone striker bit up front. Felix took command in the goal as usual and was quite literally outstanding today, saving a bullet shot dead and managing to hold it too. His Kicking has come on brilliantly thanks to special 1-to-1 coaching over the past week. This was one of Felix's best performances. Morgan was his usual Duracell bunny-self, running everywhere and covering every blade of grass. He should really have had a penalty, but the hapless (and now xbox-less ref) didn't see it, or a shed-load of other stuff....Tsk kids, eh??
