The team blog

Christ alive, it only seems like two minutes have passed and we're already getting ready for another year of stress and torment. Some players will be staying and others will be moving on....a few might not know that yet, but move they shall. Anyway the coach and I will be seeing them on Tuesday night and putting them through a few ideas. After last season...well, it can't get any worse...can it? I brought in a few lads for a recent 5-a-side at Sandhurst Town, and we managed to win the tournament, having said that, with the team we had, I'd have expected nothing less.   COMMENT

Conspiracies everywhere

Ha Ha..well bugger me, its hard trying not to think that everyone is out to get you, what with all the politics that go on, even at junior football levels, but you just have to shrug and make do with what your given.......  COMMENT

Kit + Stuff

Trying to get the kit sorted this season ahs been nothing short of a bloomin nightmare..printing not done, then done, but wrong, then not turning up at all.......sheesh, wonder why we bother sometimes. But when it came it was brilliant, as we knew it would be.  COMMENT

The club blog

The club AGM went quite smoothly really. I was expecting a few more fireworks, so not a bad result. We managed to get a sponsor for 2008.09. They are doing the whole kit, for all the teams at every age group. Hoo-bloody-rah!! Jo, the club secretary worked very hard on that and deserve the credit.  COMMENT

Good + Bad

The club got started on a winning note this weekend as both U15 teams score 3 points. There was a tinge of frustration as one player was dismissed on Sunday for retaliation, despite our best efforts to tell everyone that this season will be harsh on everyone.   COMMENT

Another Sat Win

The U15 Saturday team maintain their 100% record as they came from behind to record another 4 - 3 win at Whitegrove. The lads look a little unfit at the moment, but we're gonna change that big time!!   COMMENT

Bad + Ugly

More frustration as the Sunday team slipped to a 5 - 1 reverse and had another player booked. With the start of the Respect campaign, this does not do the club any favours, but it's something we can work on as a club!!   COMMENT

The personal blog!

Bugger me its hard trying to get a friendly.. but we've managed to get one against Whitegrove on Tuesday 29th July, Kick-off at 7pm (ish) and we are lining another up against Purley Jubilee from the South Chiltern League. COMMENT

Oh joy....!

The image of the football league must one of all encompassing happiness.....and woe be tied anyone who disagrees....

Getting Committed players

Its hard trying to get lads to commit. We've had a great core of players that have been die in the wool Crowthorne. Trying to re-build that old die hard attitude is going to be hard, but I think it is achievable. If we can get 12 solid players to commit every week, then add some pool players to that, I am confident we can compete for honours next season.

Nuff Said

It appears that Camberley have dropped off the radar on Saturday mornings too...it's a shame as they were a good side. Finch made a cracking start beating Brackne...oops I mean Whitegrove 10 - 0, yea good choice.... COMMENT

Kevin Hutton

Kevin Hutton of the U13s The Crows thought the fight back from 3 - 0 down at half time was impressive and well deserved. Team showed good character..... COMMENT

Ruth Herbert

Thought the fight back form 3 - 1 down by the U15 s was incredible and also thought the fight-back was led by skipper Kennie Chamberlain.... COMMENT

Joe Birkitt

I Think we did really well to get back from 3-0 down so well done boys. So lets keep it up against Binfield !.... COMMENT
